You probably already have the ingredients necessary for a “chaffle” in your fridge, too, since they’re just eggs and shredded cheese. For a more savory recipe, try cheddar and jack cheeses. For something sweeter, lean toward mozzarella. It just depends on your taste and the time of day — there’s no reason you can’t eat these delicious waffles for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
If you want to get even more creative, try adding blueberries or cinnamon to the mix for a sweet fix. For a savory version, add spices like paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and oregano. You can even chop up scallions or fresh herbs and add it to the batter. The possibilities are truly endless.
